II Marine Expeditionary Force
PSC BOX 20080
CAMP LEJEUNE, NORTH CAROLINA 28542-0080

Dear Mr. Frank Kienast,

On behalf of II Marine Expeditionary Force, I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation for the hard work you provided during the first “BikeSafe” training session conducted 19 Dec 2008 aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC. Statistically, Marines and Sailors involved in motorcycle mishaps have been on the increase. The BikeSafe Course and the relationship between local law enforcement agencies and II Marine Expeditionary Force highlights our increased efforts to reduce this trend.

Your professionalism and enthusiasm exhibited in the performance of your duties was commendable and greatly contributed to the overall success of the BikeSafe Course. You are a credit to your department; thank you for a job well done.

J. A. GARDNER
Col., U. S. Marine Corps
Director of Safety
II Marine Expeditionary Force
